Memory GamesThis first set of memory games mix your ability to remember where you last saw something with flashcards. Click on a tile and it will turn over, showing you what is on the other side. Click on a second card and it will do the same. If the two cards have the same value (e.g., 2+3 and 5) then the cards will disappear exposing more of the background. If they don't match (e.g., 2+3 and 4) then the cards will turn back over and you will have to start over again. Your ability to remember what you saw when a card turned over will help you quickly match up all the pairs of cards. For an additional challenge, you can make the math harder by choosing an activity with a more complex operator, like multiplication or division, or you can play against the computer - as symbolized by the penguin, "Tux". To download an activity, click on the icon in the Download column. To see a screen shot of the activity, click on an image in the Screenshot column.
These memory games extend the same idea to remembering images or sounds. Again, you can play against yourself or against the computer.
