Memory Games

This first set of memory games mix your ability to remember where you last saw something with flashcards.  Click on a tile and it will turn over, showing you what is on the other side.  Click on a second card and it will do the same.  If the two cards have the same value (e.g., 2+3 and 5) then the cards will disappear exposing more of the background.  If they don't match (e.g., 2+3 and 4) then the cards will turn back over and you will have to start over again.  Your ability to remember what you saw when a card turned over will help you quickly match up all the pairs of cards.

For an additional challenge, you can make the math harder by choosing an activity with a more complex operator, like multiplication or division, or you can play against the computer - as symbolized by the penguin, "Tux".

These memory games extend the same idea to remembering images or sounds.  Again, you can play against yourself or against the computer.
