Maze

A simple yet well designed maze game. The goal is to get
from the upper left part of the screen to the green square at the lower right.
You are represented by the blue dot. As you move you will leave a trail of
white dots behind you.

You only need the arrow keys to navigate through the maze.
What is especially clever about the activity is that once you are proceeding
down a path, the blue dot will move further on its own until it reaches a
decision point. You just tell it the direction to go by pressing the
appropriate arrow key and it will automatically move on until the next decision.
This saves you al lot of key presses that you would otherwise have to do for no
good reason.
Once you reach the green square your time will be displayed in
the upper left and a new, random, more complex maze will be displayed. As
you can see from the screen shots above, you start out very simply and can
progress to a quite complicated maze.
If you stop moving for more than about 20 seconds a green
sleeping face appears in the middle of the screen. It disappears as soon
as you start moving again. I suspect that the timer stops while the face
is displayed. To save yourself from having to retrace the simple mazes
each time, launch the activity from the journal and you will resume at your last
maze.
