Installation Instructions

Once you've downloaded a collection file:

1. Double click on "My Computer" and locate the collection file.
   
2. Click once on the file (e.g., Arthur.exe - note that the .exe may not be visible).
   
3. Choose Copy from the Edit menu.
   
4. Now use "My Computer", again, to locate the folder where you installed the SmartSquares program. [This folder is probably on your C: drive in the Program Files and then SmartSquares folder -- the SmartSquares program is called "SmartSquares.exe" (again, you may not be able to see the .exe). If you have trouble locating the SmartSquares program and folder contact Technical Support
   
5. Double click on the "Image & Sound Sets" folder.
   
6. While located in the Image & Sound Sets folder, Choose Paste from the Edit menu. This will cause the collections file you selected earlier to be copied to this folder.
   
7. Double click on the collection file.
   
8. When asked, just press the "Unzip" button. The collection file will expand and appear in your "Image & Sound Sets" folder as a folder with the name of the collections file.
   
9. Press the OK button when prompted and then press the "Close" button.
   
10. You can now delete the collection file that you downloaded or were mailed.
    
11. Close "My Computer" and start the SmartSquares program by choosing Start => Programs => SmartSquares.
    
12. The new image and sound set should appear as an additional item in the Options => Themes tab => Images pull-down list.
